At the center of our adventure is the incredible EcoRoamer. We call it: “The world’s first carbon-neutral, 4wd, family friendly, expedition vehicle”. We spent two-and-a-half years building it in 2007/2008, with the amazing help of Jeff Kuhl and his family in Sturgis, Michigan. Jay designed the truck from the ground up to run on solar power and bio-diesel, using a Ford F-650 as the base, but then cutting and stretching and adding all over it with entirely recycled and sustainable materials.
